Almond Crescents

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 tsp. almond extract
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup chopped almonds
confectioners sugar

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.  Blend extract, add flour and salt, mix well.  Stir in nuts, chill dough.  Shape rounded teaspons of dough into crescents.

Place on ungreased baking sheets.  Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set.  Cool.  Roll in confectioners sugar.  Makes 5 dozen.
