Punch for 25

1 1/4 cups water
2 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups orange juice
2 cups fruit juice or syrup (raspberry or loganberry)
1 cup marashino cherries with juice
2 cups pineapple juice or white grape juice

Stir.  Let stand for 30 minutes or longer.  Drain and add ice water to make 2 gallons of liquid just before serving.
