Rum Sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1 T. corn starch
2 T. butter
1 cup water
dash of salt
Boil water, add sugar, salt. Mix corn starch to a paste and add to water. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes. Add butter and flavoring before serving on pudding.
