Rolls

Bake at 375 degrees           Time - 25 - 30 minutes         Yield about 3 dozen rolls

1.  Scald 1 cup milk
2.  Pour over:       4 T. shortening
                             1/2 cup sugar
                             1 tsp. salt
3.  Cool until tepid.
4.  Add:  2 eggs, beaten
5.  Soften 2 pkgs. yeast in 1/4 c. luke warm water
6.  Add about 2 cups flour, enouigh to make a soft batter
7.  Beat well
8.  Add enough more flour to make a soft dough (about 3 cups)
9.  Turn on on floured board and knead for two minutes
10.  Form into a ball, place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in bulk
11.  Punch down
12.  Shape as desired
13.  Let rise until doubled in bulk.  Bake.
